HOW TO ADOPT AN EDMOND DOODLE

The first step in adopting an Edmond Doodle is to complete a Puppy Adoption Application. Once approved, you will be able to pay your deposit and join our waiting list. Families on the waiting list have pick-of-the-litter based on the order in which their deposit was received. You can see our currently available puppies here. We also have litters planned at least once every 6 months so apply now to secure your pick of the litter!

Reserving Your Puppy

Deposits

Deposits are $500 and are non-refundable. They may be applied to any future litter after your application has been approved. The deposit is applied to the purchase price of your puppy and reserves your place in the pick of the litter or any future litter.  Around six weeks of age, we invite families to meet the puppies and meet their perfect match. The puppies begin to go home at eight weeks of age.

Adoption Fee includes

  • Puppy

  • First Vaccinations

  • Deworming (as needed)

  • Bag of puppy food

  • Treats

  • Blanket with mommy’s scent

  • Toy

Payment

We accept cash, cashier's checks, all major credit cards, and ACH. We can also arrange for Venmo or Paypal, if requested (fees may apply).

The purchase price is to be paid in full, including any transportation fees (see below), before you can take your puppy home. We recommend paying at least a week before your Gotcha Day to prevent any problems at pickup.

Pickup and Transportation

We offer a variety of options to get your puppy to you on your Gotcha Day. Most families arrange pickup from our location but we've also driven and flown puppies literally across the country! Please let us know in advance if you will need to utilize any long-distance services.

  • Pickup from our location

This is our most popular option and is available at no additional cost.

  • Local Drive

We can meet up to an hour away from 73044 for no additional fee. This could be the airport if you want to fly in to receive your puppy or just a location closer to your home or work.

  • Long distance drive

This option is available to families that live less than 350 miles from 73044 and would like their new puppy hand-delivered. The cost of this service is $2/mile with a $200 minimum.

  • Chaperoned Flight

We can fly with your puppy, as carry-on, to any domestic airport of your choice and hand-deliver them to you at the terminal. The cost of this service is $500 plus the cost of a round-trip business class ticket (airline miles tickets work great!).

  • Air Cargo

This option only recently became available again, post-pandemic. It is an affordable option for long-distance travel but is a bit more stressful for your puppy; however, we will do everything we can to make them as comfortable as possible. The cost varies depending on destination (please visit American Airlines Cargo for more information and rates) plus the cost of the health certificate, crate, and supplies (typically around $150).
